Jesse is a visual artist, poet, and musician currently residing in the Midwest. They attended Maryland Institute College of Art and Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design for undergraduate studies, graduating magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. Their creative practice spans multiple mediums, currently rooted in photographic media, printmaking, writing, and video. Resting between intersections of grief and personal healing, their work explores deep-seated themes of identity, memory, moment, and belonging.
Jesse’s work has been showcased in online and physical exhibitions and art venues across the United States of America, such as with Lenscratch, the Colorado Photographic Arts Center, and Denver’s RiNo Art District, including many others. Crosby’s work has been published domestically and internationally, with VoyageDenver, FLOAT Photo Magazine, Fifth Wheel Press, Glasgow, UK’s, The Alchemy Experiment’s “It’ll Be Alright,” among several others. Their solo show Unlocking Hope, debuted fall 2023 at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.
Jesse is presently involved with the local art scene in Denver and the North Boulder Art District, where you can routinely find them at curated art markets and events.
